One Step Closer to the development of the former Co-Op Site.
We are pleased to be able to share with you that we have moved one step closer to the redevelopment of the former Co-op Site. We recently attended the Executive Committee and was delighted that the Executive approved the recommendation to set aside £26.05m to develop an Independent Living Scheme as well as strengthening the retail and community offer.

We recently attended the Executive Committee and was delighted that the Executive approved the recommendation to set aside £26.05m to develop an Independent Living Scheme as well as strengthening the retail and community offer.
There is an opportunity to work closely with the Houghton Regis Heritage Society, to consider how best to configure the Red House within and in relation to the overall re-development. No assumptions are made at this early stage. The final approval for the scheme will be decided at the Council meeting on Thursday 26 February.
